Idenity Program - Jay Perkins

Tea Party has chosen a west coast, Asian teahouse atmosphere. This choice and the demographics of the target customer imply a simplified Asian "feel" for the identity of Tea Party.

Lithos Pro's Zen-like look, without being overly decorative, was chosen for the headline and sub-head type face. Caslon is used for the body text due to it's readability without clashing with the Lithos head fonts. An italic style provides and informal and personal mood with a slanting angle being reminiscent of handwriting.

Not unlike a Japanese garden, colors of nature were chosen to merge into an atmosphere of relaxation, with the stimulating red and orange to provide energy and represent the human influence. The texture and color of a grass tatami mat and fresh green of tender, young leaves, provide a feeling of oneness with nature.
