Web Site Design

Web Site Design Goals

To differentiate the web presence of Tea party from its competitors, the ongoing Taoist theme of “less is more” would serve well. Simple layout, simple navigation, and content that is stripped of all unnecessary adornment will contrast positively against the competitive web sites. Further, this “look” will reflect the underlying philosophy of simple design that will appeal to the target market.

Adherence to our ID program and images selected, meshed with just enough information to reach our marketing goals, will produce a crisp, clean, and uncluttered web site. An intuitive and simple navigation flow will unify the site into a valuable component of the Tea Party marketing program. This web site will provide worldwide access, 24 hours a day, for potential customers to learn about, locate, and order from, Tea Party.

The Home page is a clean and simple ("less is more") design that highlights the navigation to get directly to the section of interest. The common grid structure, images and color palette provide a unified presentation, tailored to Tea Party's target market.

On the the "Learn" page. Size of navigation is reduced on secondary pages but remains consistent and simple with color cues in the headline and under the selection, to make it easy to see where you are located in the site menu.

A special page was created, using an available script, to encourage return visits to the site and Tea Party. This page will be updated weekly with photos of Tea Party customers taken at the tea room. The page is interactive in a clever way. The look of one screen is shown, but the live page here is more fun!
